Camden Elks Parade 2026 Brings Music, Fellowship, and Community Spirit to Mt. Ephraim Avenue
After an unexpected rain delay, the Camden Elks Parade 2026 returned under sunny skies on Saturday, October 10, bringing hundreds of residents together for an afternoon of music, food, and fellowship. Originally scheduled for October 4, the annual celebration hosted by Pride of Camden Lodge No. 83 took on a slightly different look this year. Traditionally held on a Sunday with streets closed along Mt. Ephraim Avenue for the parade, this year’s festivities shifted to a more compact setting beside the lodge at 1818 Mt. Ephraim Avenue, with the stage positioned along Browning Street. Although space was limited for the large turnout, the atmosphere remained lively as neighbors gathered to celebrate a longstanding Camden tradition.
The afternoon featured a performance by the Camden High School Marching Band under the direction of Jamal Dickerson, Lawnside Dynamite Dance/Drill Team, along with a dancer performing to Michael Jackson’s music, special performances, and live band entertainment. Families enjoyed free food, food trucks, local vendors, a moon bounce for children, and bookbags filled with school supplies. Hosted by Bishop Levi Combs alongside members of Pride of Camden Lodge No. 83 and its sister chapter, the celebration also welcomed Camden Councilmen Christopher Collins and Angel Fuentes, who joined residents in enjoying the festivities. Despite the change in schedule and smaller event footprint, the gathering maintained the energy and community connection that have become part of the annual tradition.
