Camden, New Jersey’s own Sol ChYld returns with her latest visual, “Yellow”, the second video from her 2025 album Rebirth Theory. The project continues to showcase her distinct mix of confidence, artistry, and emotional transparency that’s made her one of the most interesting emerging voices in hip-hop, let alone Camden, New Jersey.
Directed once again by Wayne Campbell, who also helmed the visuals for her first single, “Travel Size,” featuring Chicago lyricist Kaicrewsade, “Yellow” cements the creative partnership between artist and director. Also along for the ride, Haanesha Smith, who wrote the direction, Don Michael Jr, who mixed and mastered the song, and production by Max He. There were other notables who helped style Sol ChYld. Together, they bring to life a world that feels both familiar and dreamlike — where creativity and uniqueness are the driving forces for the collaborations.
