With her apparent roots in poetry, hip-hop, soul, and jazz, “For the Sol” is ripe with a consistent mixture of lyricism, flow, instrumentation, arrangement and melodious production. Each song blends in such a fashion that is rarely achieved with any success in today’s music scene.
To give more credence to her acumen, her collaborations are in perfect harmony as if features could have had the same success on any given song on the album.
