Cathedral Kitchen is cooking up something special and we don’t want you to miss out! For Camden residents seeking a job in the culinary field, now is your chance for FREE culinary and baking arts training! Located at 1514 Federal St. Cathedral Kitchen offers full time courses for 15 weeks from Monday through Friday from 8:30am-3:00pm. Individuals accepted into the program receive a chef uniform, two meals a day, SERVSAFE certification training, FREE tuition and much more.
So what are the ingredients for acceptance? Applicants must be at least 18 years old, not have any outstanding arrest warrants, willing to complete all reading and written assignments as assigned by the chef instructor, guest instructors, willing to stand for a maximum of 4 hours and able to speak, read and understand English in a fast paced atmosphere. So if this sounds like you, please make time to visit one of their information sessions for more information regarding their Spring 2022 semester. Info sessions are 2 hours long from 9am – 11am. There are 7 sessions in total the dates are as follows -Friday March 18, Thurs. March 24, Tues. March 29, Thurs. March 31, Thurs. April 14, Tuesday April 26, and Thurs. April 28.
These courses fill fast and are only available 3 times a year, classes for this semester begins Monday, May 9, 2022.
