With today’s inflation, many of us in Camden can’t worry much about saving when we are simply trying to make ends meet. Bumps in the economy, inflation and other factors, have lead to “hard-er times,” for some, if not all.
Parkside Business & Community in Partnership (PBCIP) has a program that can put a kick back into your savings. The program is called the Emergency Savings Match Program and has been created to encourage families and the like, to invest in building up long-term savings. Thus, this is done from opening up a bank account at Citizens Bank and contributing to the account regularly. Those funds would be matched by the program.
Eligibility requirements are:
• Be a Camden Resident
• Household gross income below poverty line
